Well, it could've been a great drawing, until the sex appeal chunko was applied. Because the Internet loves that for some reason. Imagine seeing this disproportionate thing running around fighting zombies.

devilhs responds:

Thankfully it's just a fanart and she doesn't have to run anywhere.

Good ol' Q*T

Nice simple doodle. Very well composed. The tool used for the lineart is too blurry for me. Makes the overall piece look like a small image blown up. I know it's implied that the chains stop mid-air, but it still looks weird.

Cool concept and design. Overall colours could be a little more uniform, though. Marshmallow's an untalented hack, but it's all about image, right?

Just a real quick: I'm really glad to finally see this Female Link design WITHOUT z-cup breasts. This is so much more respectable and well-designed than that idiotic fetish crap. It does feel a little empty with those long legs being exposed, but everything else is lovely.

Just a quick note. When I set aside all the clothing and hair and whatnot and focus on her figure, her anatomy is a bit messed. For the size/plumpness/perkiness of tits that you're going for, they'd be a little higher up. The biggest thing though is her neck. When you really step back and look at it, it's like twice as long as it should be. Everything else is cool tho

SpecterWhite responds:

Neck was a conscious choice, might not be the best one, but still I was aware of it. As for the tits, in most of her original art they aren't really pushed up, I tried to keep it similar in that case.
Thanks for the input though.

As much as I love the imagery, I think I like the original one more. It's got a more refined, consistent look, highlighting, and texture in every way. I also like in the rework that you added the feathers on it, but it doesn't look finished with that awkward brush swoop underneath the eye.

You madlad. You took the designs from that horrendous style they had and made them likeable. Well done.

I don't care for Steven Universe, but this is really nice. The rendering of the face and glasses is lovely, and the hair's done in a simple yet serviceable way.

...And then there's the bottom half. Compared to the style of the top, the bottom is not finished. It needs SOMETHING

Pollitq responds:

Thanks, IKR I just did not care for the shoulders, but heeey, the file is editable, i´ll finish it and print a poster.

I generally like everything about this, but the follow-through bouncing on some parts isn't as proper as it should be and it just nips at me. Most things move like two or three pixels, but it looks like the knees move one or two, and the legs don't move as much as they should when someone moves down a bit. The hair is flowing to the wind, but not following through with the bounce besides maybe being positioned down a pixel. For the antenna, having at least one more pixel of it move would look more natural (even though you can argue that it's top heavy). I understand have the tits bouncing one at a time at an angle but... more of the body needs to actually move like that in order to make them do that kind of motion.

Basically, she's too stiff for what you're trying to do. These all come off like nitpicks, I know, but they're the little things that build up an awesome piece, and this has the potential.

I like the colours and style, but there's too much awkward empty space, particularly in the bottom, because of the strange, inaccurate (?) perspective. I'd take more time to figure out the composition and perspective first before going into the fun stuff.

My mom says I'm handsome.
